Dr. Carolyn Lutzko

Bio

Dr. Lutzko has twenty years of experience in the development of cell, gene and immuno -

therapies for genetic disease and cancer. Her studies have focused on understanding the

biology of stem cell populations and their potential development as therapeutics. In 2010

she joined Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute

where she is currently the Director of Translational Development and the Cell Manipulations

Laboratory. She is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati

and Division Director of Regenerative Medicine and Cellular Therapies at the University of

Cincinnati’s Hoxworth Blood Center.
