Hoxworth Food Drive
Hoxworth Blood Center is teaming up with local food pantries to help provide much needed food and household items to our community.
Hoxworth's food drive will be taking place from Sunday, January 17th - Wednesday, January 20th. All donors scheduled to donate at a donor center during these dates are encouraged to bring items (listed below) to their donation to help those in need. Blood donors will receive a free MLK quote T-shirt!
Hoxworth West and Hoxworth Central food donations will be delivered to The Fridge, Etc. located at 2936 Colerain Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45225 at the Cincinnnati Welcome Project.
The Fridge, Etc. is a 24/7 community fridge where you take what you need and leave what you can. The Fridge, Etc. is currently in need of: Kid friendly food items, bannas, apples, oranges, canned soups, spaghettio's, pasta sauce, granola bars, pancake/waffle mix, peanut butter, jelly/jam, honey, maple syrup, hot sauce, salsa, all purpose cleaners, and hand sanitizer.
Hoxworth Ft. Mitchell food donations will be delivered to Be Concerned located at 1100 Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011.
Be Concerned is currently in need of: non-parishable food items, Cleaning supplies, Hygiene products, Chunky style soup cans, boxes of cereal, and condiments like mayo, ketchup, and salad dressings.
Hoxworth Tri-County food donations will be delivered to the Fairfield Food Pantry located at 78 Donald Drive, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.
Fairfield Food Pantry is currently in need of bars of soap, tooth paste, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, baby wipes, diapers, peanut butter, canned fruits/vegetables, macaroni and cheese, cereal, snacks, spaghetti sauce, canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.), dried pasta and rice.
Hoxworth Anderson food donations will be delivered to SEM Food Pantry located at 2020 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230.
SEM Food Pantry is currently in need of: non-expired, non-perishable food items and toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes and shampoo.
Hoxworth North food donations will be delivered to Mason Food Pantry located at 406 4th Ave Mason, OH 45040.
Mason Food Pantry is currently in need of: non- perishable food items - canned fruits and vegetables, pasta sauce, condiments, soap, shampoo, mouthwash, tooth brushes, hair brushes, deodorant and household cleaning products.
Hoxworth Blue Ash food donations will be delivered to Operation Give Back located at 10891 Millington Court, Blue Ash, OH 45242
Operation Give Back is currently in need of: applesauce, frosting, hamburger helper, mayo, pancake mix, syrup, pasta sauce (no glass jars please), paper towels, canned pineapple, salad dressing (any), BBQ sauce, mustard, jelly
