All blood and platelet donors who give at any of our 7 neighborhood donor centers and select mobile blood drives in February will receive a soft long-sleeve waffle shirt with “Lifesaver” and the number “56”—a reminder to the 56-day waiting period between whole blood donations * While supplies last.
So why not schedule your next 2 donations now & check it off your list? For example, if you donate February 11, your next eligible donation date is April 8 — It’s a great way to stay on track and keep making an impact when it’s in the calendar. Thank you!
February 14: Valentine's BONUS
Did you know that February 14th is National Donor Day? It’s a great time to raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation, as well as our partners Network for Hope. As a special BONUS, all donors who donate blood or platelets at any of our Neighborhood Donor Centers will receive a cozy "You're My Type" fleece blanket *while supplies last! Schedule donation!
Fun fact: Our amazing Transplant Immunology Division helped support 642 organ transplants last year — Great job TID! What an incredible impact.
