January 8, 2025 – All neighborhood donor centers and blood drives will be OPEN with operations as usual on Wednesday, January 8. Donations urgently needed this week to prevent blood shortages! January 7, 2025 - After closing all collection operations including blood drives and donation centers on Monday due to severe weather, our neighborhood donor centers will be OPEN on Tuesday, January 7. Mobile blood drives for Tuesday will be rescheduled.

January 6, 2025 - Due to inclement winter weather, Hoxworth Blood Center operations is CLOSED, Monday, January 6, 2025. We’re contacting Monday donors to reschedule their appointments. If you prefer, you can self-schedule by calling (513) 451-0910 or using our Hoxworth app. We currently plan to open all operations on Tuesday 1/7 as normal, if possible.

We are the sole blood provider for all Greater Cincinnati hospitals, and we are dedicated to maintaining a steady and reliable blood supply for our local patients, even during inclement weather. To achieve this, we will make every effort to remain open whenever possible.
