Hoxworth Hero Gail Traylor Donates Blood Every 8 Weeks in 2024 Creating a Hoxworth Habit
“It’s important to me to donate blood because others who want to help might not be able to because of various health conditions. I’m healthy so I want to give what I can.”
Gail Traylor has been donating blood with Hoxworth Blood Center since 2018. She often visits the Neighborhood Donor Center in West Chester.

Every 56 Days
A donor is eligible for whole blood donation every 8 weeks or 56 days. For Gail, that meant donating blood 6 times in 2024 beginning in February and ending in December. Each donation is a chance to save lives at local hospitals. Hoxworth is the sole blood provider for more than 30 hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Gail was given a certificate to remember her commitment. She encourages others to join a community of Hoxworth heroes.

Continuing the Hoxworth Habit
Gail says she plans to continue donating blood every 8 weeks in 2025. She’s already visited the Neighborhood Donor Center in West Chester in February! She will likely repeat a similar schedule she had in 2024 starting in February and ending in December.
